PATHS is a mental health practice serving individuals and families in the Baltimore region, offering therapy, psychiatric rehabilitation, and community support grounded in compassionate, trauma-informed care. The site had to explain each form of support to people who may be new to mental health services, balancing professional credibility with a welcoming presence.
PATHS is a mental health practice serving individuals and families in the Baltimore region. Its services span therapy, psychiatric rehabilitation, and community support, with a focus on compassionate, trauma-informed care.
We led the creative direction, wrote the website content, and designed and developed the experience around the existing logo. Built with Next.js and deployed on Vercel, the project included interactions, CMS setup, integrations, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
The site needed to explain distinct forms of support to people who may be unfamiliar with mental health services. Visitors needed to understand what each program offers and how to take the next step without having to interpret clinical terminology on their own.
The design needed to balance professional credibility with a welcoming presence. Program information, practical questions, and contact options all had to remain easy to find.
We organized the experience around the practice’s programs, giving each a dedicated page with service explanations and answers to common questions. Contact routes appear throughout the site, with a consultation form on the therapy page so visitors can reach out while reviewing the service.
The visual direction pairs photography with generous spacing and a warm palette. The homepage brings the practice’s story, programs, and community events together, presenting PATHS as both a care provider and a participant in local life.
